Connect FedEx to Hykmah in 4 Steps

Get FedEx API Credentials

Log in to FedEx Global Home - Select Your Location . Create a project and generate API credentials. Select Shipping, Tracking, and Rates scopes. Note your API Key, Secret Key, and Account Number.

Connect in Hykmah

Go to Settings → Integrations → Shipping → FedEx.  Enter your API Key, Secret Key, and Account Number. Hykmah verifies the connection and displays available FedEx services on your account.

  • Enable required FedEx service types (International Priority, Economy, Express, Ground)
  • Set exporter details (ABN, address) for customs invoices
  • Configure DDU/DDP preference per shipping zone

Customs invoice missing required fields

Products missing HS codes, country of origin, or declared values in StockWise.

Fix: Check all products have HS codes, country of origin, and declared values set in StockWise. Bulk-update HS codes under Products → Import in Hykmah. FedEx requires all fields to be populated for commercial invoices.

FedEx rates not returning for international destinations

Destination country not enabled on FedEx account, or service type not available for the origin-destination pair.

Fix: Verify the destination country is enabled on your FedEx account. Confirm the service type is available for the origin-destination pair. Contact your FedEx account manager for destination-specific issues.

Tracking not updating after shipment tendered

FedEx tracking activates after the first facility scan — allow 2–6 hours after pickup before tracking appears.

Fix: Allow 2–6 hours after pickup before tracking appears in Hykmah. Verify the waybill number saved in Hykmah matches the physical label barcode. Check Hykmah sync logs at Settings → FedEx → Tracking Sync for errors.

API authentication errors after credential update

FedEx REST API credentials rotated or regenerated in the FedEx Developer Portal.

Fix: Re-enter the new API Key and Secret in Hykmah under Settings → Integrations → FedEx. Verify the Account Number matches your FedEx billing account, not the API project account.
