Who Uses eParcel Through Hykmah
Real scenarios from Australian businesses automating eParcel despatch at scale from Hykmah.
High-volume e-commerce processing without manual effort
Challenge: Processing high volumes of parcels daily manually — staff spending significant time on label generation, manifest preparation, and tracking updates instead of exceptions and operations.
Solution: Hykmah auto-creates eParcel articles for every StockWise order, generates and prints all labels in batch, and lodges the daily manifest at the configured cut-off time without any staff intervention.
Automatic routing between parcel and freight services
Challenge: Different order types needing different services — small parcels suit eParcel rates, but heavy freight needs StarTrack. Manual routing decisions per order error-prone and time-consuming.
Solution: Hykmah automatically routes orders below a configured weight threshold to eParcel and above it to StarTrack Road. Both services managed from the same StockWise fulfilment screen.
On-demand returns labels without staff involvement
Challenge: High return volumes requiring staff to manually generate returns labels and email them to customers — creating delays and adding to support workload.
Solution: Hykmah generates eParcel returns labels on demand via the returns workflow. Customers receive a returns label link via automated email without staff involvement.
Built for High-Volume eParcel Operations
eParcel is the preferred Australia Post solution for businesses despatching 20+ parcels per day. Integrated directly into Hykmah to automate the entire despatch workflow — articles, labels, manifests, tracking, and returns.
Automated Daily Manifest Lodgement
Hykmah collects all eParcel articles created throughout the day and automatically lodges the consolidated manifest at your configured cut-off time. No staff action required. A manifest report is logged in Hykmah for your records. The pickup driver arrives to a ready manifest every day.
Batch Label Printing
Print all labels for the day in one action from Hykmah's batch print function. Labels queued as orders are processed throughout the day. PDF and ZPL thermal formats supported. Large batches processed in the background with download notification.
Negotiated Rates Applied Automatically
eParcel negotiated volume rates applied to all articles automatically — no retail rate fallback, no manual rate card entry. Requires eParcel OAuth credentials (not MyPost Business API keys).
DPID Address Validation
Delivery addresses validated against Australia Post's DPID database when articles are created. Invalid or incomplete addresses flagged before despatch — preventing failed deliveries at scale before labels are printed.
eParcel integration is included in all Hykmah plans — no per-article integration fee. eParcel postage charges apply per article at your negotiated account rate.

How the Integration Works
Orders Create Articles
Throughout the day, StockWise orders trigger automatic eParcel article creation. Labels are queued for batch printing. Staff print labels using Hykmah's batch print function at packing time.
Manifest Auto-Lodged
At your configured cut-off time (before the pickup driver arrives), Hykmah automatically generates and lodges the consolidated manifest via the eParcel API. No staff action required.
Tracking Syncs Automatically
Australia Post scans update Hykmah every 15 minutes. Customer notifications fire on key milestones. Exception parcels flagged in the Hykmah operations dashboard for follow-up.

Common Issues & Solutions
Manifest not lodging automatically
Manifest time not configured, no un-manifested articles exist, or eParcel OAuth token expired.
Fix: Check the manifest time is set correctly at Settings → Integrations → eParcel. Ensure at least one un-manifested article exists. Verify your eParcel OAuth token is still valid — re-authenticate if needed.
Negotiated rates showing retail pricing
MyPost Business API keys used instead of eParcel OAuth credentials.
Fix: Negotiated rates require eParcel OAuth credentials, not MyPost Business API keys. Re-authenticate using your eParcel portal credentials. Contact Australia Post eParcel support if rates still show as retail after re-authentication.
Address validation rejecting valid addresses
Rural or recently built addresses may not yet appear in Australia Post's DPID database.
Fix: Use the Override Validation option in Hykmah for addresses not found in DPID, or check the address in Australia Post's address lookup tool before overriding.
Batch label print timing out
Large batches processing in browser may time out.
Fix: Use Hykmah's scheduled batch print feature, which processes labels in the background and notifies you when the PDF is ready for download.
